Intellectual Property Bill 2020 + Legal Matters and the Creative Industry Part 1

In 2013, the  Presidential   Task force  on Parastatal   Reforms proposed  that the  three   Intellectual     Property   agencies    nameiy:   the  Kenya   Industrial Property Institute  (KIPI),   the   Kenya  Copyright   Board   (KECOBO) and  the  Anti-Counterfeit Authority  (ACA) be merged  into one Government  Owned Entity  (GOE).
To effectively contribute to this drafted  Intellectual  Property Office Bill, 2020 for establishing IPOK, it is necessary that we understand what these changes mean for the creative sector. In this video I start a series of discussions on IPOK 2020 & the legal issues for the creative sector.
