That is if you choose to make it. Knowingly or unknowingly what we believe affects how we view life and the things we do as a result. This then shows fruition in the life we live in. Most of us do not want to take responsibility for our situation but where we are today is a result of the beliefs, decisions, and actions we took in the past.
So, if we want to change our situation tomorrow we need to make better decisions today, believe, and act differently. We can do this by reviewing the mindset that led to the decisions made and improving/changing our understanding, knowledge, and overview of life.
“All of us are a product of our own actions but only the successful will admit that” – Unknown
If our beliefs influence the decisions we make (or do not make) then it is important that we take a close look at what we believe. ?
What do you believe about you? Do you believe you have something to offer the world or that you are just not as good as others around you? Do you think you have good ancestry made up of wonderful men and women who did the best they could or that you are just from a bunch of losers so are likely to be one? Is fate -if it exists- for or against you?<br />
Remember as you think about this, it is important to understand most people will do what they think is right based on their knowledge and understanding at the time which may be very different from what humanity knows today.
How have others influenced your opinion? A good number of us do not even know what we believe and have been conditioned by what others think. The only time we come face to face with our belief is in the event of something tragic happening or in a windfall. This for many people is when major changes in life are made. We need to know what we truly believe before a heart-rendering situation. This improves the chances of coming up with better decisions
What do you feel about your environment? Do you see the potential in it or is it just desert land in your sight? What resources are available? What opportunities? Remember always that great ideas are conceived before they come to fruition by people with vision and creativity. Sometimes it is necessary to leave your environment to see the potential of what it has for you as ideas are not seen with the eyes but in the heart and mind.
If you are not sure what you believe or think, take the time to evaluate what you think. This will reveal why you do the things you do. Pre-judging and feel we are helpless makes us not take action to implement what is good for us and others. Our thoughts incapacitate us.
You may find you need to change how you think and talk to yourself because you have too many preconceived ideas that have no basis and this may stop you from moving forward. To do this interrogate;
What your self-talk is, is your perspective on issues.
Do you always take a negative position and proudly say you are a critical thinker?
Is your vocabulary full of energizing words or do people feel drained after spending time with you?
Do you criticize everything instead of realizing there is a good perspective on most things? Remember 99% of things are good. When great or bad things happen they do not fit this and it is then called news.
So, if we want to change our situation tomorrow we need to make better decisions today, believe, and act differently. We can do this by reviewing the mindset that led to the decisions made and improving/changing our understanding, knowledge, and overview of life.
If you find you have a negative mindset, maybe it is time to start embracing the fact that there is good all-around you and it can only get better if you and your community decide to make it better. Most of us are so hang-up on the bad stuff that it takes repetitive good and great things to happen before we can embrace the good. By then some other issues have come up and we are again focusing only on the bad aspect of our life.
So, what do you choose to do? Any plans to make tomorrow a better day?
