Stephen John Nash OC OBC was born on February 7, 1974. He is now a Canadian basketball coach. During his 18-year NBA career, he was an eight-time All-Star and seven-time All-NBA pick. Nash was the NBA’s Most Valuable Player twice.
2) Bol, Manute
He was born on June 19, 2010. He was an American basketball player and political activist of Sudanese descent. He was one of the three tallest players in the history of the NBA, standing at 7 feet 7 inches (2.31 meters). After playing college basketball at Bridgeport, the Washington Bullets drafted Bol in the NBA Draft.
3) Serge Ibaka
Serge Jonas Ibaka Ngobila (; born September 18, 1989) is a professional basketball player for the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers (NBA). The Oklahoma City Thunder’s previous incarnation, the Seattle SuperSonics, selected Ibaka as the 24th overall pick in the 2008 NBA draft.
4) Fall Tacko
Tacko Fall was born in the Senegalese capital of Dakar. He arrived in the US at 16 and played basketball for the UCF for two seasons in Boston. In 2021, Fall signed a free-agent contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Fall is the current NBA’s tallest player at 7ft 6 inches setting a record at the 2019 NBA Draft Combine for maximum standing reach and the longest wingspan. He is among the world’s tallest people.
5) Andre Iguodala
Andre Tyler Iguodala (in-w-DAH-l; born January 28, 1984) is a Golden State Warriors professional basketball player. In 2012, the swingman was named to the NBA All-Defensive Team for the second time and was an NBA All-Star. While in the Golden State Warriors, he won three NBA championships and was nominated to the All-NBA First Team.

Joshua was born September 1, 1998, and is a Nigerian-American professional basketball player presently playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves of the (NBA). ESPN did not rank him in the 2016 recruiting class as a 6’3 shooting guard.
8) Cheick Diallo
He is a Malian professional born on September 13, 1996, a Basketball player for the NBA G League’s Motor City Cruise. Diallo was a five-star recruit and the 2015 McDonald’s All-American Boys Game MVP (Most Valuable Player). He played for a season in college basketball for Kansas before declaring for the 2016 NBA draft when the Los Angeles Clippers selected him with the 33rd overall pick.
9) Jonathan Kuminga
Jonathan Mahlangu Kuminga (born October 6, 2002) is a professional basketball player from Congo who played for the golden state warriors. The NBA lists him at 6 ft 8 inches (2.03 m) and 210 pounds (95 kg)—a consensus five-star prospect and the best small one in the country.
10) Emeka Okafor is a Nigerian footballer.
Widely known as “Emeka,” Okafor (born September 28, 1982) is an NBA basketball player from the United States. Okafor went to Bellaire High School and the University of Connecticut, earning a national title in 2004.
11) Aminu Al-Farouq
Al-Farouq was born September 21, 1990, and is a professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association for the San Antonio Spurs (NBA). He is a Nigerian national basketball team member, which competes internationally. The Los Angeles Clippers selected Aminu with the eighth overall choice in the 2010 NBA.
