Adesua delved into the music world with her first single on February 11th, 2022 So Natural. Here is a little background on the award actress.
Adesua Etomi Early Life
Tolulope Adesua Etomi-Wellington, professionally known as Adesua Etomi, born on February 22nd 1986, is a Nigerian Multi-award winning actress.
She attended Corona School in Victoria Island, Lagos, where she joined the drama club at seven years old. Before moving to the United Kingdom. She later attended Queen’s College, Lagos. Etomi later acquired a degree in “physical theatre, melodic theatre and performing arts” from City College Coventry in the year 2004. In 2006, she concentrated on drama and performance at the University of Wolver Hampton.
Adesua’s Acting Career
In 2014, she featured in her first movie title, “Knocking On Heaven’s Door”. After which, She won the Best Actress in a Drama during the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards for her role in the 2015 show “Falling”.
Etomi has featured in different movies, including The Arbitration, The Wedding Party, The Wedding Party 2, Sugar Rush, Kings Of Boys, Muna and Falling. Her execution in Falling got her nominated for the best actress in a Drama during the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award.
Etomi got engaged to Banky W in February 2017. They have a child together. Surprisingly, Adesua has joined Nollywood actors who have delved into the music business under the stage name Susu. Her first single, So Natural, was a pleasant surprise to fans.
Launch of Adesua’s Music Career
On February 10th, 2022, Adesua posted on her Twitter page @AdesuaEtomiW
“This is the year of ‘Do.’

Cobhams Asuquo created the track for the song. After noticing her enchanting voice, she described that her better half, Banky W, inspired her interest in music.
Adesua has not been known as musical. She admitted this on Instagram as she acknowledged Banky W for being her inspiration.
“You will always be my favourite part of me. Without you, I’d be living in black and white. Baby daddy, my Zaddy, you mean the world to me. Happy 4th Anniversary Bubba. I love you. Forever. Madly, deeply.” Adesua posted.
The couple is known to always work together on several occasions. Adesua also acted in the official music video of Banky’s song, “Jo”, where Adesua showed the world her dancing skills.
So Natural official music video features Big Brother Naija celebrity Bisola Aiyeola and Jemima Osunde. Her husband directed the music video and doubled as the founder of record label turned talent management company Empire Mates Entertainment and Theoladayo.
